Thought I'd send you some hugs and kisses on this first day of February — in the form of a card inspired by Clean and Simple Stamping's FTL125.
SHOW
I had something else in mind but when I went upstairs to work I saw all these strips of kraft cardstock just waiting to be used and decided to try something a little different. Instead of changing the cardstock colors, I changed the ink colors.
Um... it was a little more difficult than I anticipated and even though I took my time, I still had trouble getting everything lined up perfectly. Maybe it's the 52 year old eyes. Or maybe the bad light in my workroom. Oh, well. Such is life. I don't know about your life, but things rarely line up perfectly in mine! So, in the case of the card, I decided to distract you with three colors of baker's twine. :)
AND TELL: stamps are from Stampin' Up (I {Heart} Hearts) and Papertrey Ink (Heart Prints); cardstock is PTI (Kraft); ink is SU (Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Melon Mambo, Rose Red) and PTI (Tea Dye Duo); baker's twine is from The Twinery (Lilac, Maraschino, Pink Sorbet); also used SU's small heart punch.
And, I guess that's it for now (since I've been sitting here for over an hour and still haven't come up with anything else clever to say... I give up!). Thanks so much for stopping by. See you again soon.
