It's not unusual for a child to latch onto a favorite toy -- and the babies in Toddler I seem to like Rainbow Bunting Babies.
They may carry one around throughout the day...
as they explore different areas of the classroom.
Oops!
How do I get to it now?
They may hang onto that baby through many distractions...
like the screws on the cabinet,
or a nearby toy.
And sometimes the baby's tag...
becomes a point of interest in itself.
But, when it's time to move on...
the baby goes along --
an ever-present friend.
