I'm a preschool director by day and insanely addicted to papercrafts at all other times. Besides that, I'm the wife of an extremely patient man (a trait I've helped him to develop over the years!) and the mother of two incredibly talented grown children.
I have a great appreciation for young children and a heart for their sweet mothers. One of my favorite work day activities is popping into classrooms and interacting with the children — often photographing them as they learn and play. A few of those photos may make it onto my blog.
Although I love my job, I would also be perfectly happy staying home all day, playing with paper, ink and stamps, reading blogs, books and magazines, and just generally puttering around the house — maybe making small decorative changes, baking or choosing new recipes to try.
My faith is an integral part of who I am. I make an effort to spend time with the Lord daily through reading the Bible and praying. I find that if I don't do it first thing in the morning that — sadly — it just doesn't get done. Life goes so much better when I put Him first!
I have no idea where this blogging thing will take me, but I'm excited to see what comes of it. The journey begins now — what an adventure life is!
